Cartridge system replacement pads for Avid 1 V brake systems including the original straight walled Rim Wrangler cartridge holder

The special Green compound is designed for ceramic rims

Installation Instructions:

1. Remove the keeper pin from the holder
2. Slide the old pad out of the holder
3. Insert the replacement pad so that the notch lines up with the keeper pinholes in the pad holder
4. Replace the keeper pin
5. Clean the rim surface before installing new pads
6. Break In Pads.  Full stopping power may not develop until after several braking applications have conditioned the rim surface.  Proper "toe in" alignment prevents brake chatter
7. Check the pad and rim alignment after the pads are broken in and after every ride
8. Important: Do not ride the bike until the brakes are checked and functioning properly.  Designed for bicycle use only.  All Kool-Stop Pads meet or exceed C.P.S.C and D.I.N bicycle standards
